The official Book Launch of Half The Woman I Was” took place on 27th June, 2012. Introduced by good friend Aubrey Rhodes, there was not a dry eye in the audience as Sigrid shared her emotional journey since forming the book’s concept back in 2005, including her powerful and courageous decision to ‘jump ship’ from her six-figure corporate salary to pursue her passion of Half The Woman I Was full time. Book Launch – 27th June
The date for the book launch is set – Wednesday 27th June from 6pm
Whilst I would love to have an open invitation venue numbers are strictly limited to 120 and so priority will be given to the media.
Details of the event will remain confidnetial for the time being but I’ll be mailing out invitations over the next week or two so keep checking that mail box!
Advance Copies Here!
Two advance copies of “Half The Woman I Was” were air-freighted to me for marketing and promotional purposes.
The remaining books are on the not so slow boat and should be here in 2 or 3 weeks.
The books look amazing and it’s fantiastic to finally see the finished product ‘in the flesh’.
PR Underway
I’ve just had a sensational first meeting with my delightful new PR consultant, Melinda Varley.
I’m looking forward to working with her and seeing what great promotional opportunities come my way .
Book Release 18 June (approx)
Books are scheduled to arrive in Melbourne on 3rd June, then 2 weeks to clear customs. Hopefully we’ll be able to avoid any transit issues or warf disputes and have them ready to ship to stores on 18th June.
New YouTube Video – The Journey

My aim with this video is that through my journey, people can start to see what I’m about, and can get inspired to create their own reality as I have done.
Creating this video was a real learning curve – Windows Live Movie, Windows Live and You Tube accounts, Widgets and more – but I’m happy with the result and I hope that you enjoy it.
Book has gone to Print
Finally, typeset all signed off and book has gone to print.
We are eagerly awaiting arrival of the books in 12 weeks.
Book still in Typeset
It’s a little frustrating but my book is still in typeset – should have it back next week for final proofing, which is a 2 week cycle.
From there it goes off to print (8 week cycle) and then another 2 weeks to clear customs.
Current ETA on reaching market is mid-June.
