Another Happy Customer

Following your passion may seem easy, but in the process I am often confronted with an abundance of challenges (and plain hard work) that I didn’t foresee. But one of the most rewarding parts is doing events and meeting new people who share their stories with me (and often bare their souls in the process). It’s the ability to really connect with my readers that inspires me even more to jump over the challenges when they appear.

The Man Behind The Woman

Today’s post is dedicated to the man behind the woman that is “Half The Woman I Was’ – my wonderful husband Antony Anderson. You see we met face to face for the first time 15 years ago today. After meeting on a small Internet dating site which had less than 2,000 members and talking on the phone for 2 days we decided to have dinner at a Greek restaurant half way between our homes, in Northcote. When I think back to the people that we both were, and the journey that we’ve travelled over that time I can’t begin to quantify the immense changes. Sure physically I’m now half the size I was when we first met, that Greek restaurant no longer exists and the little Internet dating site called RSVP is now Australia’s largest singles dating site with over a million members. So a lot has changed physically. But it’s the emotional and spiritual changes that we’ve had to make in this journey, who we have had to become at our very core of being, that are the most incredible. And Without this amazing man by my side, my partner in business, life and love who pushes me to become a better person each and every day, I doubt I would have achieved so much in my life. Thank you darling Antony – I love you.
